Who we are
These terms apply between you and Bloom Mobility Technologies LTD (“Bloom”, “we”), a company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. By using hellobloom.co.tz, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.
What we do
Bloom sources used vehicles from auctions and dealers in Japan and arranges their export and shipping to Tanzania and neighbouring countries. Listings on our site show vehicles that are available at the time of publishing; availability can change quickly.
Prices and quotes
Prices are shown in US dollars on FOB (in Japan) or CIF (delivered to Dar es Salaam port) terms, as labelled. Shilling amounts are a guide based on a recent exchange rate. A quote becomes binding only when we issue an invoice in your name.
CIF prices do not include TRA import duties and taxes, port charges, clearing fees, registration or onward delivery, which you pay in Tanzania.
Orders and payment
An order is confirmed when you accept our invoice and pay the deposit stated on it (normally 30%). The balance is due before the vehicle is loaded for shipping. Pay only into the company bank accounts shown on our website and invoice.
Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel after we have bought the vehicle in Japan, costs already incurred (auction fees, transport, storage and any loss on resale) may be deducted from your deposit. If we cannot deliver the vehicle you ordered, we will refund what you paid or offer a replacement of your choice.
Vehicle condition
Vehicles are used and are sold as described in the auction sheet and inspection report we share before you pay. Minor wear consistent with age and mileage is expected. Unless agreed in writing, vehicles are not covered by a warranty.
Shipping and delivery
Transit times are estimates (typically 40–55 days at sea) and depend on shipping lines and ports. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, port congestion or authorities, but we will keep you informed. Vehicles shipped on CIF terms are insured until discharge at the destination port.
Import rules and compliance
You are responsible for making sure the vehicle can be legally imported and registered in your country, including age limits and emission rules. We are happy to advise, but the final responsibility is yours.
Your account
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
Fraud warning
Criminals sometimes pose as car exporters. Bloom will never ask you to pay into a personal account or change payment details by message. If in doubt, call us on the number on this website before paying.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Tanzania.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place an order applies to that order.
